07 Jul Team spirit & adventure: Our summer team event in Erfurt
“Those who not only work together but also experience small adventures together grow even stronger as a team.” It may sound corny, but it’s true! Our summer team event in Erfurt proved this once again. From exciting challenges to relaxed moments, mid-June had it all, and everyone was able to contribute their expertise in their own way.
Different location, new faces, and lots of good vibes

We chose Erfurt as the location for our Q2 Team Event 2025 this year. For three days, the focus was on getting to know each other personally, exchanging professional ideas, and looking to the future together.
In addition to our familiar colleagues, we also welcomed our three new team members, Torbjörn, Carsten, and Alexander, to the event for the first time. It was the perfect setting to strengthen our team spirit and get to know each other better 🚀.
We found a modern workspace in the heart of Erfurt for our team event. It offered us the perfect environment and starting point for activities. With a view of Erfurt Cathedral, it was the ideal place to work together.
Training: On-site safety assessments intensified
A key objective of the meeting was to further professionalize our processes relating to our Active Directory Security Assessment. To this end, we had prepared a realistic test environment with specifically built-in security gaps and misconfigurations.
This allowed each colleague to run through the entire assessment process in a protected environment… from technical analysis and the use of our wrapper to data analysis and creation, as well as the presentation of the results slides.
Goals of this intensive training session:
-
- Reviewing and improving documentation: Every consultant was involved in identifying uncertainties and ambiguities in order to make our approach even more robust in the future.
- Ensuring quality: Through the joint double-check principle, we ensure that everyone can act confidently in an emergency.
- Building competence: Even colleagues who had only worked with the product on an ad hoc basis were able to deepen their knowledge.
- Best results for our customers: Because only through practice, exchange, and clear processes can we deliver excellent quality.
Fabian and Robin have positioned themselves as the main contacts for customer deliveries.
We deliberately take a lot of time for this important topic in order to carefully train each step, discuss it together, and gather valuable feedback. Our main goal is always to ensure that our customers benefit as much as possible in the end.
A real win-win for everyone involved.
HR workshop: Review, feedback, and outlook
Another key topic was the HR retro workshop, moderated by our colleague HR specialist Deike. The focus here was on our internal cooperation:
-
- Where do we come from? What is the status quo?
- Joint collection of feedback and creation of thematic categories
- Future-Back Session: How do we want to work together? What steps are necessary?
- Derivation of concrete measures
- A brief digression on the topics of workload and collaboration, also with a view to the results of the latest employee survey
Afterwards, open questions about our development model and roadmap were clarified transparently.
Team building: Archery at Egapark
Of course, there was also plenty of fun to be had. Together with the company younited, we held an archery event on the spacious lawn at Egapark Erfurt.
After a brief introduction, participants took part in various challenges designed to test their precision, composure, and team spirit. We had a lot of fun and got to know our new colleagues even better. Of course, our colleague Lisa captured it all in pictures.

At the end, there was a small award ceremony. All in all, it was the perfect mix of challenge, mutual support, and lots of fun.
Some colleagues also went bouldering together at a climbing hall in Erfurt. It was an ideal opportunity to test their athletic limits and exchange ideas away from their everyday work routine.
Our event was rounded off with relaxed evenings spent dining together on the waterfront promenade near Erfurt Cathedral. With perfect summer weather and good food, we were able to reflect on the past few days and make plans for the coming quarters.
What we look forward to
We love and live remote work, but the three days in Erfurt have once again shown how important it is to spend time together on site: for professional exchange, for fine-tuning our products and processes, and above all for team cohesion. We are already looking forward to the next team event in Stuttgart in September and to everything we will achieve together in the current fiscal year.
